1. A and B share profits and losses in a firm in the ratio of 3 : 2. And C entered in the firm as a new partner; his profit sharing ratio is 14. If C has taken his share of profit from A and B in equal ratio, then the new profit shearing ratio will be ?

Solution:
Let the total share=200 unitsShare of C=200×14=50 unitsRemaining share=(20050) = 150 unitsShare of A=2003+2×3=120 unitsShare of B=2003+2×2=80 units
According to the question,
C received equal amounts from A and B
A's remaining share=(12025)=95B's remaining share=(8025)=55
    A     :     B     :     C
New Ratio →     95     :     55     :     50
        19     :     11     :     10
