1. A, B and C enter into a partnership. A invests some money at the beginning, B invests double the amount after six months and C invest thrice the amount after eight months. If the annual profit be Rs. 27000; C's share (in Rs.) is ?

Solution:
Let the money invested by A, B and C be Rs. x, Rs. 2x and Rs. 3x respectively
Then, A : B : C
=(x×12):(2x×6):(3x×4)=12x:12x:12x=1:1:1C's share=Rs.(27000×13)=Rs. 9000
