1. A mixture of a certain quantity of milk with 16 litres of water is worth 90 paise per litre. If pure milk be worth Rs. 1.80 per litre. How much milk is there in the mixture ?
According to the question,
Cost price of pure milk = Rs. 1.80
Cost price of the mixture = Rs. 0.90
Now using Alligation method.

Therefore the amount of water is equal to the amount of Milk in mixture.i.e. 16 litter Milk in Given Mixture

Let the price of water = Rs. 0According to the question,
