Solution:

Let the number be x
Then,

\begin{aligned} \Rightarrow \frac{1}{7} x - \frac{1}{11} x = 100 \\ \Rightarrow \frac{4 x}{77} = 100 \\ \Rightarrow x = \frac{7700}{4} \\ \Rightarrow x = 1925 \end{aligned}
