1. Nonad, Vikas and and Manav enter into a partnership. Ninad invest some amount at the beginning. Vikas invest double the amount after 6 months and Manav invests thrice the amount invested by Ninad after 8 months. They earn a profit of Rs. 45000 at the end of the year. What is Manav's share in the profit ?

A. Rs. 9000

B. Rs. 12000

C. Rs. 15000

D. Rs. 25000

Solution:

\begin{aligned} Let Ninad's investment be Rs . x \\ Then, ratio of capitals \\ = (x \times 12) : (2 x \times 6) : (3 x \times 4) \\ = 12 x : 12 x : 12 x \\ = 1 : 1 : 1 \\ ∴ Manav's share \\ = Rs . (45000 \times \frac{1}{3}) \\ = Rs .15000 \end{aligned}
