1. The base of a pyramid is an equilateral triangle of side 1 m. If the height of the pyramid is 4 metres, then the volume is :

Solution:
Area of the base :
=(34×12)m2=34m2
∴ Volume of pyramid :
=(13×34×4)m3=(33)m3=(1.7323)m3=0.577m3
