1st discount = 30%
Two successive discount to a single discount

\begin{aligned} = 25 + 5 - \frac{25 \times 5}{100} \\ = 30 - 1.25 \\ Difference % \\ = 30 - 30 + 1.25 \\ = 1.25 % \\ Difference amount \\ = 1.25 % of 2000 \\ = \frac{1.25}{100} \times 2000 \\ = Rs . 25 \end{aligned}
